The mission of the international arts festival "Plartforma" is to unite artistic experience of different countries and the creative potential of artists in a common creative event. The festival presents contemporary dance and theater, new circus, music, performance and visual art creators and their groups. This is the only interdisciplinary festival in Klaipėda and Western Lithuania, which, in addition to the cultural, also performs an educational function – it introduces and invites the audience to understand and appreciate contemporary artistic expression.

 

"Plartforma" is a longevous representative festival of Klaipėda city, in 2019-2021 it has been included in the list of Strategic Lithuanian festivals, and since 2015 awarded with the "Europe for Festivals / Festivals for Europe" mark by the European Festival Association.

 

The festival is organized by the Artists' group "Fish Eye" and financed by the Lithuanian Culture Council and Klaipėda City Municipality.
